Cupping Ethiopians. Trunk Hama was super vibrant, lemony cupped - didn't get that in pour over. Switch Coffee Tokyo Sidamo also good, smoky.
Capp. The texture is wonderful, Suzuki does a great job. 👌👌
Wollega v60. I've said all I can say! 👌 I like it.
Nyakabuye Rwandan "cortado". Foam was thin and weird service.. The hot milk hides the tobacco and other possible unpleasantness. 🙄 to 🙂
Lemoncilo v60. Sourish. Tastes a bit lemony obv; bit bitter, possibly over, but not bad. Not super clean / distinct, muddy, not fav flavor.
Rwanda Capp: Nyakabuye. Thin. Tobacco, hazelnut, and something vegetal. Super complex...can't place it all. Something fruity or sweet too.
Another v60 Wollega! Over, but good. I think underextracting is the way to do it. Light on berry, more like a fruity black tea.
Wollega Natty Ethiopian v60. More extracted than last, but still 👌. More black tea - blueberry is super delicate. Still bright. Sweeter.
Costa Rican med roast. Decent florals and dark red fruitiness. Good brightness and acidity, but just over roasted. No sweetness.
Eth. Nat, "Wollega", v60. Amazing blueberry. Even the smell. Slight earthiness, very bright. Not super clean. Not sweet at all, but 👌👌👍
Ethiopian on Aeropress. Dark tea. Bright stonefruit with a forefront of dark sweetness. Almost a dry, creamy texture to finish. Sweet end.
Capp. Unknown fruitiness. Still earthy, but milk drowned that out a lot. Milk may be different than I'm used to. Texture 👌. Very light.
Aricha / Yirg SO piccolo. Blueberries, yay! Toast. Tastes like blueberry flax granola. Very balanced. 👌 best blueberry spro ever.
Yunnan coffee. Interesting earthy notes. Cute little shop. Not much fruit or acidity to speak of and over roasted, but interesting.
Dark, trash espresso. Needed WiFi. RIP palate. 😥🤒
Slayer & Mazzers! Piccolo, house blend. Texture 👌. Darker than pref, but decent red notes, acidity, chocolates; not too bitter. Tiny place.

Macc like a double. Roasted dark, prob between second and french. Mostly chocolate - some stonefruit and acidity, but hidden and dark. Meh.
❤️ Last stop in the US! Chelsey happened to be here. Big location downtown! Love it all the same. Kilenso. Less bright than before, but 9/10.
The tasting flight. The SO Brazilian on v60 was just spectacular. Literally banana nut bread and amazing earthiness. 10/10 would drink again
Brazilian "Crema". Larger location is nice. Very good stonefruit, slight bitter. Fairly mild, but complex. Very much like dark chocolate.
Ethiopian Kilenso. So light. Very happy! Strawberries galore. Milk is good as always.
❤️ Ethiopian spro - remake of an over (offered 😄). Red fruit, bright, and bit sweet. Lingering bitter. Bit thin. Strawberry. Cooled very well.
Ethiopian Pourover. Clean, bit sweet, not bitter. Black tea, touch honey, and meyer lemon. Thin, could almost pass as tea except the smell.
Indonesian again, better with milk. Still a bit complex, but muddled and dull.
Indonesian Sulawesi. Darker than prev. Too much going on. Bit balance, odd bits of brightness. Not that sweet, slightly bitter.. Confused.
❤️ Rwandan pourover. Good tech, great smell. Earthy, vegetal, tea, unknown red/stone fruity brights. Delicate and soft mouth feel. Oddly sweet.
Same Costa Rican in macc form. Tartness and milk are a bit odd, competing. Prefer the spro so far. Sweetness feels gone, sourness shines.
New blend espresso. Earthy and savory start, unexpected brightness, moderately sweet. Moderate reds, toasty. Good side of sour. Cools sweet
Had a medium roasted Ethiopian harrar coffee on syphon....not a fan. Burnt, over extracted. Too bitter to find anything. Too hyped. 1st wave
Good as a capp as well; brightness does seem a bit weird with milk and it's a bit thin still. Overall good, but definitely less or no milk.
CC El Sav Chemex. Very clean, a bit lacking in depth. Slightly underextracted, too fast, but good tech all in all.
House was dark red berries, dark chocolate; bitter without brightness. Cooled a bit sweeter. Needed more balance via milk or bright/sweets.
A location that isn't white! Same as SF/Oak; medium chocolate notes with good stonefruit; needs more sweetness, but balanced. Bitter finish.
Guat Santa Sofia (2 wks). Bright, reddish, nice acidity and sweetness. Bright red bitterness. Bright end. How is it good this old??
Mexican SO. Good acidity and black tea; light bitterness without too much chocolate. Almost velvet, but a bit sour and thin. Grapefruit.
Mexican shot. Bright for a med+/dark- roast, but muted/bitter across the board. Visibly oily, thin texture. Carmel stonefruit. Ends bitter.
I'm always so #late with my check-ins.
Single origin Zirikana, Rwanda.
I am getting a tasting flight. 45 minutes, $17. I am in love with that premise.
Macc, a bit on the bitter edge, but very fruity. Stumptown.
